Building on his Las vegas success, Steve Wynn has built a 20-story hotel and casino in Macau styled after his distinctive curved-tower resort in Vegas. This luxury resort is one of the most opulent in Macau, decorated with Chinese symbols of luck and prosperity.
The casino at Wynn Macau offers 100,000 square feet of gaming, with expansions planned that will double that. There are 250 gaming tables, offering Baccarat, Blackjack, Caribbean Stud, Roulette, the Chinese classic dice games Sic Bo and Fish Prawn Crab, Three-Card Poker, Three-Card Baccarat, and Craps. There are also 440 slot machines.
The hotel is a five-star offering with 4 different types of accommodations. Deluxe rooms and grand deluxe rooms are spacious and offer spectacular views of the water and the island. Grand deluxe rooms are noteworthy for their grand plate windows, measuring over 100 square feet, that provide a truly remarkable view. In addition to sleeping areas, both types of rooms offer sitting areas and workspace.
The Wynn Macau also offers one bedroom and two bedroom suites. Both types come with VIP check in and access to the Wynn club lounge, with exclusive dining and entertainment. The suites have separate media and dining rooms, dressing areas, deep soaking tubs and separate showers. If that wasn't enough, suites also come with a private spa therapy suite, and the two bedroom suites have a 24-hour personal butler assigned to them.
There are five restaurants at Wynn Macau. Wing Lei is the centerpiece of the dining options, offering upscale fine dining with Cantonese cuisine. Southern Italian fare is available at il Teatro, traditional Japanese at Okada, and Red 8 presents authentic Cantonese and Northern Chinese in a less formal environment. For all-day dining, the Cafe Esplanada serves international cuisine in a bright, cheerful setting, with views of the pool and garden. If you are in the mood for a cocktail, try Cinnebar or the Wing Lei Lounge.
The spa at Wynn Macau offers a full range of spa treatments, while the salon provides manicures, pedicures, haircuts and hair styling, and make-up experts who can create a special personal look just for you. The fitness center is well-equipped with a full range of machines, and the outdoor pool lets you lounge in a luxurious solitude. In addition, guests who enjoy shopping will truly appreciate the Wynn Esplanade with its 25,000 square feet of high-end retail stores.
The Wynn Macau is located at Rua Cidade de Sintra, NAPE, Macau. The closest airport is Macau International Airport. You do not need a visa to visit Macau or its close neighbor, Hong Kong, but you will need a visa if you wish to travel to mainland China. Plan well in advance if you will need a visa, as these can easily take six months to obtain.
