For leisure and recreation, the Legacy Golf Resort is a great choice. The par 71 18-hole championship golf course is truly excellent and is a must-see for golfers. A quiet town by nature, Laveen is not a great choice if you’re looking for happening nightlife, but Phoenix, only 14-miles away, has everything you’re looking for. A particularly popular Phoenix nightspot is the Cajun House, a dance hall with themed nights so you can catch Jazz one night and 70’s Disco favorites on another. For trendy, try the Hurricane Night Club, a modern, chic nightclub in the north of Phoenix.
