In August 2007, the Dakota Dunes Casino (formerly the Emerald Casino) opened. A Native American casino in Saskatchewan, the casino covers 84,000 sq. ft. of gaming floor, making it the province's largest casino. Dakota Dunes Casino employs over 400, nearly 70% of which are First Nations people. The casino is a joint venture between the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA), Saskatoon Tribal Council and Whitecap Dakota. The Dakota Dunes Casino combines a Las Vegas style casino with a First Nation theme. Dakota Dunes Casino is open 7 days a week between 9AM and 3AM from Sunday to Wednesday and between 9AM and 4AM from Thursday to Saturday.

Dakota Dunes Casino boasts of 625 slot machines and 25 table and poker games. Live table games include Poker, Blackjack, Roulette and Three Card Poker. The casino also has a dedicated Poker Room.

AROMA is open every day and there is a private dining room available for guests who require it.

Just next door to Dakota Dunes Casino is the Dakota Dunes Golf Links, which Golf Digest voted as Best New Canadian Course in 2005. The Radisson Hotel Saskatoon has the WaterWorks Recreation Complex inside. The complex consists of two three-storey waterslides, whirlpool, pool, BodyWorks fitness room, pool and Rucker's Express.

Dakota Dunes Casino hosts live entertainment and dinner shows. The casino has a 7,000 sq. ft. multipurpose room that can accommodate up to 800 people for concerts and other events.
